Iguanas are a common sight in many parts of the world. On a recent trip to Mexico, I was surprised to look across the lawn and see one of these handsome fellows staring back at me. As it turned out, the resort staff like having these guys around, so they lay out platters of leftover fruits for them. I named this one Guillermo. As he lay there in the sun, I thought about what he could teach me about happiness. He was content in his rest, knowing that when it was time for him to move, he would be quick and precise, full of purpose. My stay in Mexico was similar: resting in preparation for new purpose.
