About the Artist

Hi! I’m Sarah: former art teacher, lifelong creative, and professional artist. Over the years, I’ve had many requests for watercolor classes, but life conspired and I never got it done.

 

Well now I’m ready! I tried to think about everything I wished I knew starting out, and I’ve added all that into the plan. These classes will take you from absolute beginner to confident watercolorist, and we’ll do it all in person, in very small groups (max of 6/class), from the cosy comfort of my firelit home in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.

Description

Get into the holiday spirit with an afternoon of watercolour, creativity, and a little Christmas humour! In this 4-hour workshop, we’ll create a collection of playful Christmas card designs featuring snowmen, Santa, woodland animals, and a few festive puns.

I’ll guide you step by step through each design, sharing simple watercolour and line techniques along the way. Perfect for beginners, these charming cards are meant to be loose, colourful, and full of personality.

Come paint, relax, and leave with a collection

of at least 6 unique Christmas card designs you’ll be proud to share with family and friends.

I enjoyed this painting workshop so much ! Sarah is incredibly talented, her work speaks for itself and being able to translate that into teaching is awesome!   • If minimum numbers are not met, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • Students wishing to cancel their registration must give 48 hours notice for a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded.
