About the Artist

Hi! I’m Sarah: former art teacher, lifelong creative, and professional artist. Over the years, I’ve had many requests for watercolor classes, but life conspired and I never got it done.

 

Well now I’m ready! I tried to think about everything I wished I knew starting out, and I’ve added all that into the plan. These classes will take you from absolute beginner to confident watercolorist, and we’ll do it all in person, in very small groups (max of 6/class), from the cosy comfort of my firelit home in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.

Description

Calling all cat lovers! This 4-hour Christmas card workshop is all about our favourite mischievous felines and the trouble they can get into during the holidays.

We’ll create a collection of whimsical watercolour cards featuring festive cats, Christmas presents, decorations, and plenty of personality. I’ll guide you step by step through simple watercolour and line techniques designed to keep these projects loose, playful, and beginner-friendly.

Come paint, relax, and leave with a collection of at least 6 delightfully cat-themed Christmas card designs to share with the fellow cat lovers in your life.

Price range: $125.00 through $170.00

I enjoyed this painting workshop so much ! Sarah is incredibly talented, her work speaks for itself and being able to translate that into teaching is awesome! Her method of teaching is intentional and relaxed. She has created a space that is cozy and her teaching set is perfect! I can’t wait to take more classes!

Sarah has a gift for layering techniques in a way that builds your confidence without being overwhelming. I walked away feeling like I have enough understanding of the foundations that I can head into an art store, ask the right questions, and actually make sense of the options.

  • If minimum numbers are not met, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • Students wishing to cancel their registration must give 48 hours notice for a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded.
