About the Artist

Hi! I’m Sarah: former art teacher, lifelong creative, and professional artist. Over the years, I’ve had many requests for watercolor classes, but life conspired and I never got it done.

 

Well now I’m ready! I tried to think about everything I wished I knew starting out, and I’ve added all that into the plan. These classes will take you from absolute beginner to confident watercolorist, and we’ll do it all in person, in very small groups (max of 6/class), from the cosy comfort of my firelit home in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada.

Description

Calling all dog lovers! This 4-hour Christmas card workshop celebrates our four-legged friends and all the fun they bring to the holiday season.

We’ll create a collection of playful watercolour cards featuring festive pups tangled in Christmas lights, dressed for the season, delivering holiday mail, and getting into a little Christmas mischief. I’ll guide you step by step through simple watercolour and line techniques, making these projects approachable for beginners and fun for more experienced painters too.

Come paint, relax, and leave with a collection of at least 6 charming dog-themed Christmas card designs perfect for sharing with the dog lovers in your life.

I enjoyed this painting workshop so much ! Sarah is incredibly talented, her work speaks for itself and being able to translate that into teaching is awesome! Her method of teaching is intentional and relaxed. She has created a space that is cozy and her teaching set is perfect! I can’t wait to take more classes!

  • If minimum numbers are not met, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • Students wishing to cancel their registration must give 48 hours notice for a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded.
