A few years ago I planted my first rosebush next to my yellow front door. This summer it has bloomed profusely and I’ve enjoyed it so much. It has a soft, sweet scent that greets everyone coming in the door, making it a perfect welcome.
I’ve mounted this beautiful painting to a 12×12″ block of cradled Birch and painted its sides gold to pick up the gold accents in the rose. Mounted pieces can be set into a canvas frame or can go without framing entirely.

Medium: Watercolor with metallic accents on 140lb Arches cold press paper; mounted to 12×12″ cradled Birch with gold painted sides. Framing is not necessary.
